It’s almost a decade since the launch of the iPhone. It’s the device that revolutionised the communications market and the habits’ of people around the world. During this time the role of the web developer has evolved and we now must embrace these technological advances in each and every design. Google and their team of algorithm geniuses have announced that an update on April 21st will now take into account website responsiveness. To begin with this update will only be specific for browsing from a mobile device. Twenty-five percent of the worlds population now access and browse the internet from their devices rather than desktops and we’re now faced with the simple reality that our presence on the web must cater for multiple resolutions, screen-sizes and technologies.
