Low cost label solution enables expansion and substantial ROI Edale

Background A leading UK label converter required a reliable, straightforward flexo solution for producing two-colour promotional labels for a customer in the food retail sector. Solution Having been made aware of FL-1’s capabilities and benefits, the prospect conducted a three-month time and motion study in order to anticipate feasibility and potential financial return. The positive outcome resulted in an order for – and installation of – an FL-1 press designed to print self-adhesive labels and tags. Benefits Our customer’s label printing operation based on the Edale FL-1 has expanded into a dedicated factory running eight FL-1 presses, each generating £1 million sales per year from an initial machine investment of around £150,000.
