Digital Print Operator – do you want to join Copy Color?

A Digital Print Operator role available within Copy Color. Are you interested in joining our passionate and innovative print and communications company? Started in 1984 we have come a long way, would you like to grow and develop with us? Experience of working within the digital print sector would be an advantage however this isn’t essential. You will be responsible for controlling and maintaining the quality of the product produced from our Digital Print Production devices. Training will be provided to run the digital presses both large and small format. Canon imagePress c10000vp This role is working a 8am-4.30pm or 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and passionate about print and communication, this is a great opportunity to be part of a great team. You will be working within the Digital Department, effectively running the digital presses in line with job specifications and maintaining the digital press room. This role incorporates: ensuring all work is produced to the highest standard, on time and to job specifications and making sure that presses and working environment are kept in working order. If you are the right candidate you will: Understand and utilise common hand tools and have good manual dexterity Willingness to learn and inquisitive nature Procedure oriented and methodical Highly detailed oriented In addition you should possess: Excellent visual discrimination, a natural eye for quality assurance and ability to visualise colours, including the ability to match or detect differences between colours, including shades of colour and brightness Mechanical aptitude and skills to perform technical adjustments and maintenance of the digital press Able to follow and understand directions clearly Must be able to work independently and with the team cohesively.
